Ellis Hay Make Every Sale Kinder with Saint Catherine’s Hospice

As an Estate Agency, Ellis Hay cares for people and the local community. As a result of this, we’re delighted to announce that we will now be donating £50 to Saint Catherine’s Hospice for every property sold.

Saint Catherine’s provides care and support for adults with a terminal illness and to their families and friends. Through a multitude of services, whether for patients, their family members or carers, the charity provides a warm and welcoming environment.

In modern day life, we all have an assemblage of activities, such as working, looking after family, whizzing the kids to dance shows, football training or even piano lessons. Getting caught up in the business of everyday life means it can be difficult to contribute to the local community or take part in a big fundraising event. That’s why we’ve made it easier to give back.

If you choose to sell your property through Ellis Hay, this will now be classified as a #KinderSale – which means you are helping a wonderful charity that really cares for people who are no longer able to look after themselves. As part of the sales process, a £50 donation will now be automatically donated to the hospice. This donation will not affect the money that you receive for selling your property and will be footed completely by the agency. As a buyer or seller, you can make an additional donation to the hospice if you wish to do so.

Sian Cromack, Fundraiser at Saint Catherine’s, said: “We are delighted to be expanding our relationship with Ellis Hay. On behalf of everyone at Saint Catherine’s I would like to thank them for their generosity. We are very grateful for the wonderful support we receive from businesses in Scarborough and the surrounding area. Last year the support from our community helped us to care for over 3000 patients and their families across the 1600 square miles we cover.”

If you feel inspired, there are so many ways you can support Saint Catherine’s hospice. Please get in touch with the charity’s Fundraising Department on 01723 378406.
